Do you have a knack for spine-tingling tales or a wild imagination that needs an outlet? Penny’s Rapid Reads wants you—yes, you, brave tween-friendly storytellers and curious cats (with a little help from your humans, of course)!

We’re on the prowl for flash fiction that’s spooky, funny, heartfelt, or just plain weird… as long as it’s short, sharp, and claws into readers from the very first line.

Please send us your paw-some stories that keep readers on the edge of their seats (or their scratching posts!). Remember: tales or poems should be between 300 – 1,500 words and fit for readers ages 9-12 (and their favorite feline friends).
